I might be wrong on this but I didn't necessarily need Joe to be vocal because I know his baggage but I still stand by the pod needing to address it. Mel was totally ready to run the thing but Joe KEPT speaking up as if he didn't have baggage. He should have let the team run it and he add his tidbits.
