  1. You can see here that the only cities in America that are growing faster than the country are built like giant suburbs (Houston, Phoenix, etc), and rural areas are losing population. So what’s left is the burbs. It’s also interesting that even people who are designated as urban dwellers see themselves as suburban because they live in car-oriented SFH neighborhoods.
