  2. Cinematically it hits like A Clockwork Orange. It definitely had it's horror moments. The ending was brutal. But it plays out like a stage drama and I think it's probably considered a dark comedy. I always thought it was an erotic thriller for the most part. I haven't seen it in like 20 years tho.

    Hace 6 días · The only one of his films I've seen is, surprise, surprise, The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover, which is very good.Remember seeing bits of The Draughtsman's Contract on TV as a kid...A Zed & Two Noughts too, I think. His style appears to be quiet austere and cold and clinical in the main (although he also seems to dabble in gaudy, colourful visuals).
