    30 de jun. de 2024 · Tomb of Gainsborough, the painter. In the church-yard near the school-house door, is the tomb of Thomas Gainsborough, Esquire, the celebrated artist, who died August 2, 1788, aged 61. He has no other monument than a gravestone, which only mentions the date of his death.
