Why It's Worth Watching: The film helped define the opposites-attract trope back in 1971. It was highly rated at the time, and even still, some people think it's one of the best romance movies out there.

Fully agree. I think it was on the channel recently. I caught some snippets of it but didn't watch it all the way through. There are all these movies of that era in my life that I saw in the theaters once and have never seen again: Breaking Away, Being There, Kramer vs Kramer, Taps.
