Hace 4 días · The Chieftains tradded it a bit with some triplets and rolls etc and I wonder if some Irish players have gone full trad and more or less turned it into a reel. That’s how I play it, replacing some of the Baroque hold-leap-hold-leap phrases with smoothed-out long roll phrases just as I would with any reel I went to learn that felt too jagged, too unflutelike, under my fingers.
