  7. Hace 2 días · Prompted by this discussion I played Lodger this morning. I'd say, considering the lyrics, the album is the most significant set of songs he ever wrote. Less "in your face" musically than much of his previous works, the aural warmth allows the messages, and there are many, and they are weighty, seep into one's consciousness and be heard.
