As you see in your chart, Aemon is the older brother of Aegon, who is the grandfather of the Mad King. This makes Aemon the great-uncle of the mad king. In the show however, where Aemon tells Jon Snow who he is, he makes it clear that he is the Mad-Kings uncle, and that the mad king ruled immediately after Aegon. What does this mean?
