My dear pal Vince Welnick from Grateful Dead/The Tubes offed himself this week in 2006, and my best friend Bob Welch did so as well, this same week, six years after Vinny.   7. Actually Hornsby was never an official member. Vince Welnick after him was though. I much prefer Hornsby but honestly don't listen to much after Brent died. I'm a 1970 through July 1990 guy - like most Deadheads, probably.
