Starcastle is an American progressive rock band from Champaign, Illinois, United States. Formed in 1969, the group played many shows under the names Pegasus and Mad John Fever before eventually settling on Starcastle.

30 de ene. de 2018 · The following year, Paul cleared way for bassist Gary Strater. The band filtered through a sequence of names (Pegasus, Mad John Fever) before settling on Starcastle. In 1973, they were joined by vocalist Terry Luttrell and second guitarist Matt Stewart.
Gary Strater was a music master, spiritual being, deep thinker, kind hearted human and one of quick wit! Sadly Gary lost a battle with cancer in 2004. He is missed every day and the world lost a true genius when he went on to fly with the angels!
