Lee Tae-min was born on July 18, 1993 in Seoul. He joined SM Entertainment as a trainee with talent in singing and dancing and was chosen to debut as a member of Shinee in 2008 at age 14. The group officially debuted on May 25, 2008, performing on the music program Inkigayo on SBS.
