Anne Basset (1520 – before 1558) was an English lady-in-waiting of the Tudor period, reputed to have been the mistress of King Henry VIII.

Anne Bassett was Arthur’s step-daughter. Her mother was Honor Grenville and her father was Sir John Bassett. Arthur married Honor in 1529.
Anne Susan Bassett CM is a Canadian psychiatrist, specifically in mental behaviour. She is a full professor and Canada Research Chair in Schizophrenia Genetics and Genomic Disorders at University of Toronto. Bassett is also a Clinician Scientist at CAMH and a Senior Scientist at the Toronto General Research Institute.
ANNE BASSETT (c.1521-before June 7, 1557) Anne Bassett was the third daughter of Sir John Bassett (1462-January 21, 1528) and his second wife, Honor Grenville (c.1494-April 1566). Her stepfather, Arthur Plantagenet, Viscount Lisle, was Lord Deputy of Calais and Anne was sent to a French family to be educated.
