Digital Moonscapes (1984) is an album by Wendy Carlos. "Written for orchestra (or orchestra replica), it is inspired by several astronomical subjects." [4] A symphony orchestra is simulated using Digital Synth's GDS (General Development System) and Synergy Digital Synthesizers (see: Crumar ).

28 de jun. de 2023 · Moving beyond analogue, Wendy started exploring digital synthesisers, becoming especially fond of the additive synthesis-based Crumar GDS system, and its spin-off, the Synergy. Using these tools she re-created the tones of the full symphony orchestra and released a stunning album called Digital Moonscapes in 1984.
