Doug Scarratt joined the band in 1995. During 1994, Saxon recorded the album Dogs of War. [2] Shortly afterwards, Graham Oliver was fired by the band in 1995. The band replaced Oliver with Doug Scarratt, a longtime friend of drummer Nigel Glockler.
