He released Live two years after his 2012 major-label debut, Blak and Blu , and Live North America 2016 arrives on a similar schedule, appearing in 2017 after the release of 2015's The Story of Sonny Boy Slim .

15 de feb. de 2024 · LIVE NORTH AMERICA 2016 captures Clark on tour in support of his then-current studio release THE STORY OF SONNY BOY SLIM and nearly half of that album is represented here, highlighted by a terrific version of “Shake” with a guest appearance by Leon Bridges.
On Live North America 2016, as with the actual live shows, the main attraction is Clark's amazing guitar skills, the extended jams, and his absolutely incredible tone. Here the sound has been stripped back a bit, with less focus on his second guitarist and more focus on his own playing. And let me tell you it is downright incendiary.
