  3. The purpose of the Drama School is to train and provide guidance to young people intending to enter the acting profession. The course lasts three years and is free of charge. Its classes come into three categories: Acting is taught by professional actors and directors. It has three teachers a year.

  4. HISTORY. Identity. The Drama School of the National Theatre was founded at the same time as the National Theatre in May 1930 with the aim of “systematic effort for the best education of actors”. From that date the School has been in continuous operation and has played an important role in the development of contemporary theatre.

  5. The National Theatres Drama School Study Program is multi-faceted and aims at a high level of artistic training for future actors and directors. At the same time, course plans were drawn up for all of the School’s academic years and for each of the 26 weeks of teaching per year.
