So Much for the Afterglow is many people's favorite Everclear album, a band who (while commercially successful at the time) have since fallen out of the mainstream recognition of their heyday in favor of other alternative rock and power pop albums of the time such as Spilt Milk by Jellyfish and Weezer's self-titled Blue Album.
