Edward Mackay "Eddie" Cheever III (born 5 June 1993) is an Italian-American racing driver who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for MR Racing in the LMGTE Am class. He is the son of retired Formula One driver and 1998 Indianapolis 500 winner Eddie Cheever.
Eddie Cheever III is an exceptionally talented and accomplished racing driver in his own right, successfully competing in a diverse range of categories, including Formula Abarth & Renault, the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, International & Blancpain GT, the Le Mans 24 Hours and the prestigious FIA World Endurance Championship.
In 1996, he formed his own IRL team, Team Cheever, and won the 1998 Indianapolis 500 as both owner and driver. The team later competed in sports cars. His younger brother Ross Cheever, nephew Richard Antinucci and son Eddie Cheever III also became racing drivers.
