Don Iwerks was a technician and engineer who worked on many Disney films and attractions, including Mary Poppins, Star Tours, and Epcot Center. He also developed cameras, projectors, and systems for giant-screen and 3D theaters, and received the Gordon E. Sawyer Award from the Academy.
