17 de may. de 2024 · 皇仁書院 （英語： Queen's College ）為香港最早成立的 官立中學 。 1862年於中環歌賦街校舍啟用時命名爲 中央書院 （ Government Central School ，當時又稱 大書院 ），及後於1889年遷往中環荷李活道新校舍，1890年政府刊憲改名為 維多利亞書院 （ Victoria College ）。 1894年，政府再度刊憲易名為 皇仁書院 （Queen's College）。 目前校舍位於 香港 銅鑼灣 高士威道 ，為全港僅有的三家官立男子中學之一 [註 1] 。 [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] 歷史 [ 編輯] 中央書院時期 [ 編輯] 在1841年香港成為英國殖民地前，公開的教育主要由私塾及後來的華人鄉村學校提供。
