Profile: British bassist and crew member. Wheaton studied for a Live Sound and Tour Management Diploma at BIMM Brighton before relocating to BIMM Bristol to undertake a Music Industry Management degree. He began working for space rock band Hawkwind as a roadie before joining the band on bass.
Hawkwind performed two Solstice Ritual shows in December 2015, with Steve Hillage guesting, and Haz Wheaton joining Hawkwind on bass guitar. Wheaton is a former member of the band's road crew who had previously appeared with Technicians of Spaceship Hawkwind, a "skeleton crew" spin off live band.
