  2. THE HISTORY: In The Beginning. 1964-65: The Ides of March begin in Berwyn, Illinois (a western suburb of Chicago) on October 16th as “The Shon-Dels”. Their first record, “Like It Or Lump It,” was released on their own “Epitome” label in 1965. The original four members are: LARRY MILLAS — VOCALS AND GUITAR. JIM PETERIK — VOCALS AND GUITAR.
