Tawa College is a state coeducational secondary school located in Tawa, Wellington, New Zealand. The school opened in 1961, and primarily serves students in Tawa and the surrounding suburbs. A total of 1,191 students from Years 9 to 13 attend the school as of February 2024.
Tawa College - With the support of our community we aim to provide a challenging, balanced education which strongly promotes achievement and preparation for lifelong learning through the development of students' intellectual abilities, personal maturity and social responsibility.
We are a co-educational state secondary school of around 1450 students, 100 teaching staff and 45 support staff. The students are drawn largely from the area of Tawa which itself has a broad socio-economic mix. In that sense it is a microcosm of New Zealand society.

Tawa College provides education for 1438 students in Years 9 to 13. The roll includes 17% of students who identify as Māori and 14% as of Pacific heritage. The roll has remained stable since the November 2015 ERO report.
