1 de ene. de 1980 · Tom Sawyer meets his friend Joe Harper on his way to school. Joe is convinced that his mother doesn't love him. Because Tom isn't happy at home, the two boys decide to runaway and start a life as pirates. They ask Huckleberry Finn to join them.
Faced with spending his whole Saturday whitewashing Aunt Polly's fence, Tom persuades his friends to do the work for him and to pay for the privilege too. Tom meets Judge Thatcher's niece, Becky, and immediately falls in love with her.
