Feed My Soul [CD] Beloved roots trio examines universal themes of mortality, love, hard times and redemption against a musical background of the Holmes Brothers’ typically infectious blues and roots.
On March 2, 2010, the brothers released the album Feed My Soul, which was inspired in part by Wendell's bout with cancer. That album was followed by 2013's Brotherhood .
The burst of creativity stems from Wendell’s recent bout with bladder cancer, which gave the siblings a new appreciation for life. They are joined, as always, by drummer Popsy Dixon and their friend, Joan Osborne, handles the producer’s role as well as adding backing vocals on seven tracks.
