Paul Winter Consort es un grupo musical estadounidense liderado por el saxofonista Paul Winter. Fundado en 1967, el grupo mezcla elementos de música clásica, jazz y world music, así como sonidos de animales y de la naturaleza. Los últimos músicos que lo forman son, además de Winter, el percusionista Glen Vélez y el pianista Paul Halley.
Brazil’s guitarist-composer Castro-Neves then reconnected with soprano sax player Winter later in the 60’s. The rest is now history. Castro-Neves and Winter have collaborated in several projects, such as Paul Winter’s Earthbeat, Missa Gaia and Canyon, and in Oscar Castro-Neves’s own solo debut Oscar!
