In 1978, he came to United States to pursue Ph. D. study at The Ohio State University, Columbus Ohio. He joined Claflin University in 1983 as Assistant Professor of Economics and Finance. During the last thirty years, he has served at Claflin University as Department Chair, Division Chair and Founding Dean of the School of Business.
