Floratone II is the second album by the collective Floratone, which comprises guitarist Bill Frisell, drummer Matt Chamberlain along with producers Lee Townsend and Tucker Martine which was released on the Savoy label in 2012.

Floratone began simply as a long-planned but very informal marathon improv jam session between Frisell and Chamberlain in 2005. After it took place, Townsend and Martine took the session tapes and trimmed them, focused them, added special effects: loops, samples, and other ambient sounds.
Bill Frisell brings his unique guitar voicing––and lots of friends––to the second album by Floratone, which also features nimble drummer Matt Chamberlain and a pair of producers who are credited as equals in the creation process. Loops and samples flow throughout the album, but never dominate.
