Senior Pastor. David grew up around the corner from the church but married a Sydney girl and moved over east. He worked as a medical doctor for a number of years before realising he just wanted to tell people about Jesus all day – so he became a pastor with a fire in his belly for evangelism.

Throughout this year, the Elders Board, composed of Pastor Chin Wee Ang (invitation), Pastor David Skirving (invitation), Sean Kum, Stuart Beattie, Wayne Luce, Michael Keong, Rohan du Heaume, Peter Wieske and Jonathan Liaw (on personal leave for the year), initially planned to meet bi-monthly for prayer and church matters.

Several other members performed with the band before David Skirving joined as a permanent guitarist. Their first releases were the singles "Park and Ride" and "Your Sound" in 1998.
Al principio les acompañaba a la guitarra David Skirving. 1998. En Marzo se publica el single de debut del grupo, “Park ride”, en el sello escocés Andmoresound. “Park ride” aparece únicamente en vinilo, y rápidamente se descataloga. A finales de año llega “Your sound”, segundo single del grupo.
