Esther Jane "Jennie" Hobart (née Tuttle; April 30, 1849 – January 8, 1941) was the wife of Garret Hobart, Vice President of the United States in the first years of the Presidency of William McKinley.
Jennie Tuttle Hobart (1849-1941), the daughter of a prominent attorney, was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. She married Garret Augustus Hobart in 1869 as he was beginning his career as a lawyer and Republican politician.

During the course of his education, Hobart fell in love with Jennie Tuttle, the daughter of his teacher, and they were married in 1869. Socrates Tuttle was elected mayor of Paterson in 1871, and he appointed Hobart to the position of city attorney.
