Maria van Arkel (c. 1385 – 19 July 1415) was the only daughter and heiress of Lord John V of Arkel and Joanna of Jülich. She inherited the title to Gelderland from her maternal uncle, Duke Reginald IV, and her son became Arnold, Duke of Gelderland.

1 de jul. de 2011 · Maria van Arkel overleed op 19 juli 1415 en zou niet meer mee maken dat haar zoon Arnold in 1423 Hertog van Gelre werd. Haar kleindochter Maria van Gelre (1434-1463) zou het zelfs tot koningin van Schotland schoppen, door haar huwelijk met Jacobus II van Schotland.
