Daniel Evans (born 23 May 1990) is a British professional tennis player from England. He has been ranked as high as world No. 21 in singles by the ATP, which he achieved on 7 August 2023. He is the current British No. 3 in singles. He reached a career-high ranking of world No. 52 in doubles on 26 April 2021.
The British 12th seed defeated Tallon Griekspoor in the final to claim his second ATP Tour crown and his first ATP 500 trophy. Evans, who rose to No. 21 in the Pepperstone ATP Rankings, is the first Briton to win the D.C. title since Tim Henman in 2003.
