Ottavio Bottecchia (1 de agosto de 1894 - 14 de junio de 1927), fue un ciclista Italiano, ganador por dos veces del Tour de Francia. Bottecchia nació en un pequeño pueblo de la región italiana del Friul a finales del siglo XIX.
Ottavio Bottecchia (pronounced [otˈtaːvjo botˈtekkja]; 1 August 1894 – 15 June 1927) was an Italian cyclist and the first Italian winner of the Tour de France. He was found injured and unconscious by a roadside and died a few days later; the exact circumstances of his accident remain a mystery.
Ottavio Bottecchia è stato un ciclista su strada italiano. Fu il primo ciclista italiano a vincere il Tour de France, nel 1924; nella circostanza fu inoltre il primo ad indossare la maglia gialla ininterrottamente dalla prima all'ultima tappa. Rivinse il Tour anche nel 1925.
