Timothy Grant Southee (born 11 December 1988), is a New Zealand international cricketer who plays for New Zealand cricket team in all formats of the game, captain in Tests and vice captain in T20Is. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler and a hard-hitting lower order batsman.
Tim Southee is a right-arm swing bowler who has played for New Zealand in all formats since 2008. He has taken 380 Test wickets, 221 ODI wickets and 157 T20 wickets, and scored a century and 11 sixes in Tests.
Southee has played his part in quite a few T20 leagues across the globe, notably the IPL where he represented some big teams like Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.
