Maiko Kano (狩野 舞子 Kano Maiko, born July 15, 1988) is a former Japanese volleyball player. She was part of the Japanese team that won bronze at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Kumi Nakada (the coach of Hisamitu Springs) converted her to setter in 2012-13 season.

狩野 舞子 （かのう まいこ、女性、 1988年 7月15日 - ）は、 日本 の元 バレーボール 選手。 東京都 三鷹市 出身。 ニックネームは マイコ 。 マネジメント 契約先は スポーツビズ 。 来歴. 父親は 中央大学 から実業団で活躍したバレーボールの名選手、母親は 八王子実践高校 から 東京女子体育大学 で活躍した選手、次姉の 狩野美雪 も選手というバレーボール一家で育ち [1] 、自身も 三鷹市立第四小学校 [2] 4年生の時に三鷹市の大沢スポーツクラブでバレーボールを始める。 幼稚園の頃から頭一つ大きく、小学6年生の時には既に身長が174cmあった [3] 。

19 de oct. de 2011 · Japanese international spiker Maiko Kano joins Beşiktaş. She is expected to provide a significant boost to the Lady Eagles’ offense. The 1.88m tall Kano, who played for Riso Scotti Pavia of Italy last season, was also a member of Japan’s world bronze medal- winning team.
