Ecaterina Szabo (en hongarès: Szabó Katalin) (Zagon, Romania, 22 de gener de 1967) és una gimnasta artística romanesa guanyadora de cinc medalles olímpiques.
Always poised and cool in competition, Ecaterina Szabo was the ideal gymnast, with creativity, flexibility, style and technique. By the time her career ended in 1987, she had won five Olympic medals, four of them gold, eight World medals, and an amazing 11 Junior and Senior European medals combined.
