Trude Beiser (after her marriage Trude Jochum-Beiser; born 2 September 1927) is a former alpine ski racer from Austria. Born in Lech am Arlberg in Vorarlberg, she won two Olympic gold medals and a world championship. Beiser was the first female Austrian skier to win two Olympic gold medals at two Olympic Winter Games.
Trude Jochum-Beiser ist eine ehemalige österreichische Skirennläuferin. Ende der 1940er- und Anfang der 1950er-Jahre gehörte sie zu den besten Skirennläuferinnen der Welt. Sie wurde 1948 Olympiasiegerin in der Kombination; vier Jahre später holte sie diesen Titel in der Abfahrt.

Biography. Trude Beiser was born in Lech am Arlberg in the Vorarlberg, but later competed as Jochum-Beiser after her marriage. She first was noticed in the 1946-47 season, winning the slalom at the Arlberg-Kandahar race and the SDS race in Grindelwald.
29 de abr. de 2021 · Beiser placed second in the downhill portion of the event and eighth in the slalom portion. However, her total score was good enough to earn the gold medal. She thus became the first woman skier to win two Olympic medals, beating Gretchen Fraser to the honour by one day.
