Lawrence Grant White (September 26, 1887 – September 8, 1956) was an American architect, a partner in the architectural firm of McKim, Mead & White, co-founded by his father Stanford White, and for five years the president of the National Academy of Design.
White saw military service as a naval aviator during the first World War, and immediately after served as a naval aide to President Woodrow Wilson in Rome, for which service the Italian government made him a Chevalier of the Crown of Italy. Returning to America in 1919, White immediately entered the firm of McKim, Mead & White as a senior partner.
