Arcadia Bandini de Stearns Baker (1827–1912) was a wealthy Californio landowner and socialite of Los Angeles. She played an important role in the elite society of Los Angeles [1] and, later, Santa Monica. [2] She was married to two wealthy Anglo-American men over the course of her life, Abel Stearns and then Colonel Robert S. Baker.

His widow, Arcadia Bandini de Stearns (later Mrs. Robert S. Baker) survived him by 41 years, and was one of the richest women in Southern California when she died in 1912. New Towns. Source citation. Daughter of Juan Bandini and Dolores Estudillo, she married Abel Stearns at 14 years of age, he was 43. The couple purchased the Los Alamitos Ranch near Long Beach and spent their summers there. Stearns had his wife's name added to his investments and thus making her very wealthy.
