Es un pintor, poeta, cantante y guitarrista proveniente de Chatham, en el condado de Kent, Inglaterra, Reino Unido. Se trata de un artista muy prolífico, con más de cien discos y de seiscientas canciones a su nombre. También ha publicado más de 40 libros de poemas, escrito tres novelas y ha pintado más de 250 cuadros.
