Levin August Gottlieb Theophil von Bennigsen (en ruso: Лео́нтий Лео́нтьевич Бе́ннигсен, Leontiy Leontyevich Bennigsen; 10 de febrero de 1745, Braunschweig - 3 de diciembre de 1826, Banteln) fue un general alemán al servicio del Imperio ruso.
Bennigsen made a name for himself in Russian history as the man who fought Napoleon Bonaparte with distinction at the Battle of Eylau; but, suffering from ill-health, he was then defeated at Friedland several months later.
Levin August von Bennigsen was born on February 10, 1745 in Brunswick, Electorate of Hanover. He fought as General then Field Marshal of the Russian Army during Napoleonic Wars. He died on October 3rd, 1826 in Banteln, Hanover.

A German officer who entered the Russian service in 1773, he attracted the attention of Catherine the Great and he forged himself a reputation during the Polish campaign. He was commander of the Russian forces in 1806 and 1807.
