Richard Mifflin Kleberg Sr. (November 18, 1887 – May 8, 1955), a Democrat, was a seven-term member of the United States House of Representatives from Texas's 14th congressional district over the period 1931–1945 and an heir to the King Ranch in South Texas.
9 de may. de 1979 · KINGSVILLE, Tex., May 8 (AP) Richard M. Kleberg Jr., board chairman of King Ranch Inc., and one of the most powerful men in Texas ranching, died today. He was 62 nears old.
In 1954, Richard M. Kleberg was elected vice president of the King Ranch corporate board, and 14 years later, he became chairman. Following family tradition, Kleberg further developed the ranch’s outstanding Quarter Horse breeding program.
Richard M. Kleberg, IV joined LKCM in 2011 and serves in Private Client Services. Prior to joining LKCM, Mr. Kleberg was a Principal and Senior Investment Advisor of South Texas Money Management, Ltd. in San Antonio, and served as Director of Research, Director of Leasing & Marketing and an acquisitions and sales associate at Emerson Partners, Inc.
