Arthur Llewelyn Davies (20 February 1863 – 19 April 1907) was an English barrister of Welsh origin, but is best known as the father of the boys who were the inspiration for the stories of Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie.

29 de oct. de 2012 · He’d been supporting the family for four of those years, since the death of the boys’ father, Arthur Llewelyn Davies. In 1909, Barrie had divorced his wife, who’d had an affair, possibly because he was impotent and certainly because he displayed little physical interest in her.
The boys were born to Arthur Llewelyn Davies, a barrister, and his wife Sylvia (née du Maurier), the daughter of French-born cartoonist and writer George du Maurier. Their father was the son of preacher John Llewelyn Davies, and brother of suffragist Margaret Llewelyn Davies.

Arthur Llewelyn Davies (d. 1907) was one of seven children and the second son of Mary Crompton (d. 1885) and John Llewelyn Davies (1826-1916). John, a respected scholar, theologian, and translator, and outspoken advocate of worker's rights, trade unionism, and women's suffrage, was Rector at Kirby Lonsdale, Cumbria.
