Vertigo Records is a British record company. It was a subsidiary of the Philips/Phonogram record label, launched in 1969 to specialise in progressive rock and other non-mainstream musical styles.

4 de sept. de 2015 · Vertigo Records, Philips’ alternative imprint, remains one of the most dearly loved and collectible of all the labels that built prog. As with many similar labels of the period, it was the vision of a record company man attuned to the changing times.
Vertigo Records became one of the first professional psy-trance labels in Russia and became known for their "Russian night psychedelic sound". After a few years Tony Lizard left Vertigo and musical direction of the label also changed towards more diverse psychedelic trance music.
