Yoshitaka Amano (天野 喜孝 —anteriormente 天野 嘉孝—, Amano Yoshitaka?) (Shizuoka, 26 de marzo de 1952) es un artista, diseñador de personajes, de vestuario y teatro; ilustrador y escenografo japonés. Destacó por primera vez en los años 60 trabajando en la adaptación anime de Mach GoGoGo.
Yoshitaka Amano (Japanese: 天野 喜孝, born March 26, 1952) is a Japanese visual artist, character designer, illustrator, a scenic designer for theatre and film, and a costume designer. He first came into prominence in the late 1960s working on the anime adaptation of Speed Racer.
YOSHITAKA AMANO. 画家、キャラクターデザイナー、装幀家。 舞台美術や衣裳デザインも手がける。 1952年静岡市生まれ. 1967年アニメーション制作会社タツノコプロダクションに入社. 天野嘉孝名義で『タイムボカン』等のアニメのキャラクターデザインを手掛ける. 1987年より「ファイナルファンタジー」シリーズのロゴ、イメージイラストを担当. 1992年『楊貴妃』の舞台美術を担当. 1993年映像作品『天野喜孝 ～華麗なる幻想美の世界～』発売. 1994年『海神別荘』の舞台美術、衣装デザインを担当. 2001年映画『陰陽師』の衣装デザインを担当. 2007年映画『ユメ十夜』の第7夜の監督を担当. AWARDS. 1983年 〜 1986年第14 - 17回星雲賞.
