  3. The Mount Holyoke College Art Museum (established 1876) in South Hadley, Massachusetts, is located on the Mount Holyoke College campus and is a member of Museums10. It is one of the oldest teaching museums in the country, dedicated to providing firsthand experience with works of significant aesthetic and cultural value. [2]

  5. The art museum on the grounds of Mt Holyoke College is a little gem. The collection is quite impressive, including Egyptian, Roman and other ancient works, Medieval and Renaissance art, Dutch, Asian, Pre-Columbian and Native American (and others). There is also an excellent photography collection.
