Outlaws (1986-87) Rod Taylor played Sheriff Jonathan Grail in this time-travel/detective show with an Old West flair. The show's pilot opens in 1899, as Sheriff Grail leads a posse after a gang of bank robbers. Trapped in a canyon, a freak electrical storm transports Grail and the gang through time to contemporary Houston.
