Reichman University (Hebrew: אוניברסיטת רייכמן) is Israel's only private university, located in Herzliya, Tel Aviv District. It was founded in 1994 as the IDC Herzliya private college, before being rebranded in 2021. It receives no direct government funding, and in August 2021 became Israel's first private university.
Reichman University is an academic institution that changed the face of higher education in Israel, and has become a successful, pioneering model and more.
The university is based in Herzliya, six miles north of Tel-Aviv, one of the largest cities in Israel. The university is based on a large campus on the site of a former Israeli Air Force base. As time has passed the university has grown rapidly, and has a significant number of international students in its student body.
