29 de abr. de 2024 · If I were to summarize community service at Choate in one word, it would be “opportunity.” The requirement provides students with numerous eye-opening opportunities to develop valuable skills, contribute to their communities, and positively impact the world.
Choate provides pro bono legal services to enable individuals in underserved communities access to justice, to provide nonprofit organizations the tools they need to effect change, and support the economic development of communities in need.

15 de feb. de 2019 · The face of community service at Choate was transformed at school meeting on Tuesday, January 29, when Director of Community Service Ms. Melissa Koomson and Director of Information Technology Mr. Andrew Speyer announced X2Vol, the new platform dedicated to tracking student service projects.
The Choate community is enhanced by individual perspectives, but our experiences are woven together by common goals and a determination to strive toward something better. Through the power of an open mind, our worlds become bigger, and we discover what’s beyond our own horizons.
