George Givot. Actor: Lady and the Tramp. Dapper American character actor and radio personality, born in Omaha, Nebraska. After attending Chicago University, Givot entered show business as a comedian with the Ziegfeld Follies. His particular forte was mimicking a variety of ethnic dialects.

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, he became a comedian with the Ziegfeld Follies with a knack for impersonating foreign dialects, which got him a number of jobs on the radio, often with his character "Greek Ambassador of Good Will". Givot also appeared in a number of films from the 1940s onwards, including the comedies Road to Morroco and Ain't Misbehavin.
